Is there a cost for the Experior (Block) Exam?

Yes. Payment must be in the form of a money order, cashier's check or certified check (no company or personal checks) made payable to Experior, in the correct amount from the table below (refunds will NOT be issued):

* A "Special" is an examination taken in one of Experior's offices, Monday-Friday, by appointment only. The candidates should mail the form to Experior with the appropriate payment. When the form has had adequate time to arrive at Experior's office, the candidate should call 800-280-3926 to schedule the exam appointment. A list of special sites is provided on the examination schedule page. If a candidate cannot make the scheduled exam date or time, there is a $25 rescheduling fee. Rescheduling must be requested AT LEAST three days before the examination appointment. If the candidate wants to schedule an exam special in any office other than Gainesville, FL, 5-7 days must be allowed for scheduling and processing.

Does Bay County reciprocate contractor licenses with other counties?

Yes. If exam and experience requirements are the same as Bay County. If you are interested in a reciprocal license, you will need to submit an application for approval.

Can I renew my Bay County Competency Card by mail?

Yes. Renewal of your competency card may be done by mail. Simply download the Renewal by Mail form, complete the form, attach a copy of last year’s competency card and current insurance information, include the appropriate payment as indicated on the form and mail to Bay County Builders Services.
