The Bay County Board of County Commissioners will host a blood drive at several locations throughout the county this week. All donors who participate will receive a OneBlood First Responder T-shirt and $20 gift card plus a wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening.
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged.
“Blood donation is so important to our community, and people who donate blood are, in a sense, “first responders,” Bay County Commission Chairman Tommy Hamm said. “Bay County employees always step up when called for these critical donations, and we encourage the community to come out this week and help us save lives.”
The drive will be held at several county worksites but is also open to the general public at the following locations:
