Sherman Avenue south of 15th Street to close for improvements

Sherman Avenue, south of 15th Street, will close to through traffic at 8 a.m. Monday, July 14, through 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, for resurfacing and widening work. The project will enhance 15th Street by adding turn lanes. Detour signs will be posted and traffic rerouted as shown in the provided detour plan. The contractor is coordinating with nearby businesses and the United States Post Office. No events are scheduled at the Bay County Fairgrounds during the closure.
