Bay County is seeking statements of qualifications from firms for the design of the Redwood Avenue Drainage Project M0015. The project consists of the survey, permitting and design for the replacement of a 48”, 2,000’ ft reinforcement concrete pipe (RCP) with a new 48” culvert along E. 15th St and Redwood Ave. The new drainage system will include the design of a nutrient separating baffle box prior to discharge into the creek. The existing 48” pipe is to remain in place and be blocked at the entrance with flowable fill.
This project may be reimbursed by the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) from HUD and the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (FDEO). Respondents will comply with the Federal Regulations Contract Requirements shown at Exhibit 3.
The Sub-Recipient (County) shall hire an Engineering Firm or Individual to conduct Phase I (design) of this project, which includes the preliminary engineering designs and calculations, surveys, permitting, and notices. Construction activities will be approved at a later date through a subsequent ITB but, are not approved at this time. Phase I work shall be completed in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and codes.
SUBMITTAL DEADLINE/DELIVERY
SEALED SUBMITTALS for RFQ NO: 22-70 Design Services for the Bay County Redwood Avenue Drainage Project M0015 will be received by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA at the Purchasing Department, 840 West 11th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, Florida 32401 up until 2:00 pm (CdT) Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Submittals will be publicly opened immediately following the deadline. It is the sole responsibility of the Respondent to ensure that the Submittal is received on time.
Each Submittal shall be delivered to the Board of County Commissioners Purchasing Department, at 840 W. 11th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, Florida 32401, no later than the Submittal deadline.
