Bay County launches "Adopt-a-Boo" pet adoption event
Bay County Animal Control invites residents to add a little magic to their homes this Halloween season with its “Adopt-a-Boo” pet adoption event, beginning immediately. Adoption fees are just $10 for all dogs, puppies, and cats at the shelter.
The event comes as the shelter approaches capacity, and staff hope that reduced adoption fees will help find loving homes for as many pets as possible.
“With Halloween right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to bring home a little ‘boo’ who will love you all year long,” said Serina Junger, Bay County Animal Control division manager. “Our shelter is full of sweet pets waiting for their forever homes.”
The adoption special applies to all adoptable pets at Bay County Animal Control, 6401 Bay Line Drive, Panama City, FL 32404. Each adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, microchipping and vaccinations. Walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours. The shelter is closed Wednesdays and Sundays and daily from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch.
With plenty of pets ready to go home for Halloween, there’s never been a better time to adopt and make this season truly heartwarming.
