Address Numbering
The Address Numbering Section assigns valid E9-1-1 addresses and road names for Unincorporated Bay County, the cities of Callaway, Lynn Haven, Mexico Beach, Parker, and Springfield.
How do I get or apply for a new address?
To register for a portal account and apply for a valid E9-1-1 address, please follow these steps:
- Find the appropriate address application form below and fill it out before creating a portal account. For new addresses, click on "Application for Address Numbering," for address changes, click "Address Change Application."
- Access CityView portal using the provided link: https://portal.baycountyfl.gov/
- Select "Start an addressing application" on the portal homepage.
- If you do not have an existing account, click "Register" to create one.
- Once registered, you can apply for verification letters, new addresses, or address changes.
- Ensure that you have the necessary documentation based on the type of new address request:
- Single Family, Mobile Home: Address Application and Deed
- Subdivision: Address application and a Recorded plat
- Corner lot: Address application, Deed, and specify the road the front door will face
- Lot Split: Address application, Deed, a survey showing the new parcel, and the assigned parcel ID.
- Apartments: Address application, Deed, and Site plan with all the units included
- Traffic Lights, Meters, Lift Station, Communications Boxes: Address application, Site plan, and Coordinates of their locations
- Duplex, Triplexes, etc.: Each unit requires its address; apply accordingly.
Please note that obtaining a new address may take 5-7 business days.
