1st Quarter: Fair Housing Activities
In the 1st Quarter, Fair Housing Training was held for the Members of the Local Mitigation Strategy Meeting which includes representatives from all over Bay County. A presentation explained what fair housing was, how to answer civilian questions about fair housing, and where to find relevant materials about fair housing.
2nd Quarter: Fair Housing Activities
In the 2nd Quarter, our Fair Housing representatives attended the Florida Housing Finance Corporation's Affordable Housing Catalyst Program, as facilitated by the Florida Housing Coalition. They brought the Bay County Training Materials to hand out to other participants, and gave a talk about Bay County's SHIP and Rental Housing Development and Fair Housing policies at the conference.
3rd Quarter: Fair Housing Activities
In the 3rd Quarter, Bay County held classes explaining Fair Housing, SHIP procedures, and budgeting for interested residents of Bay County. These classes were held on August 19 and 26.
